In the heart of Prague, where the elegant villa development of Vinohrady tells stories of the golden age of the First Republic and where every stone breathes the atmosphere of a bygone grandeur, a project was born that filled us with genuine enthusiasm and pride. Vila Vinohrady Praha – a place where modernity meets the nostalgia of inter-war glamour, and where every detail speaks the language of sophisticated taste.
This exceptional villa is more than just a residence. It's a living tribute to an era when Prague pulsed with a cosmopolitan spirit, when architecture breathed with boldness, and interiors boasted impeccable elegance. And it was into such an environment that we were invited to deliver the most important element – a bedroom that would become the heart of the entire space.
A challenge that captivated us
As soon as the request for collaboration with Vila Vinohrady arrived, it was immediately clear to us that a standard solution would not suffice. The client sought harmony between three worlds: clean modern lines, the spirit of pre-war Czechoslovakia, and an unmistakable glamour that would transform the bedroom into a true theatrical stage of rest and luxury. Each piece of furniture had to be both a functional masterpiece and a visual statement.
Bespoke solutions
After careful consultation and a deep understanding of the philosophy of this unique place, we have designed a composition that perfectly captures the spirit of Villa Vinohrady.
The Magnum bed has become the centrepiece of the bedroom – monumental yet graceful. The headboard, with an imposing width of 320 cm and a height of 140 cm, immediately draws the eye and creates a perfect focal point for the space. Its soft lines, combined with carefully chosen upholstery, evoke the glamour of the 1930s, while the precise craftsmanship references a contemporary sense of perfection.
The Magnum bench complements the bedroom's composition, bringing both practical and aesthetic dimensions – a place where the day comfortably begins and ends, and at the same time an elegant bridge between the bed and the rest of the room. The Magnum bedside tables with their glass tops then add lightness and airiness to the whole – a detail that seems directly inspired by First Republic-era salons, where glass and metal were symbols of the modern age.
And finally, the most important thing – the Luxury mattress with an integrated topper, because true luxury is only recognised when your head rests on the pillow. This mattress offers not just sleep, but an experience of absolute rest, support for the body and mind, and a morning when you wake up feeling that the world is truly a beautiful place.
